Dr. Richard S. Tacelli  1931- 2014

 

The Tacelli family is honored to announce a donor advised fund at Fidelity Charitable has been established in memory of Dr. Richard S. Tacelli.  The fund intends to support the organizations and individuals consistent with his beliefs and visions.  These include organizations formed to honor and preserve the natural world as well as students pursuing education in the sciences.

 

Doc Tacelli’s love of animals, plants and nature propelled him to become a biology teacher in the 1960's.  He made science engaging by bringing the outside world into the classroom.  He was popular and fondly remembered for his teaching methods that inspired many students to pursue higher education in the sciences.
